Mid-morning chores

Kevin and Jenny meet at the kitchen table as the sun rises higher. The heat is beginning to settle over the island.

Kevin and Jenny eat breakfast in the cottage while the heavy morning air hangs still. Jenny focuses on sketching the sea beet salt glands in her notebook while Kevin checks the dock for signs of wear from the recent repairs.
