Evening at the Dock

The tide begins its slow turn back as the sun dips behind the grey clouds. You and Jenny meet to prepare for the night as the supply boat approaches in three days.

Kevin finishes cooking the corned beef and limpets, the steam filling the small cottage as the evening settles. Jenny returns from the garden with the sea beets, the leaves wilted slightly from the heat. They eat in the quiet of the low tide, noting the air pressure beginning to drop further.
