The clouds darken further as the tide reaches the dock, and the first heavy drops of rain finally hit the tin roof.

Kevin filed the bronze sleeve bore to a 1.8 thou clearance and set it aside for test-fitting. Jenny closed the cottage door against the rain, secured the tarp over the seed trays, and checked the kettle in the kitchen.
