Afternoon work at dock and spring

Kevin is at the dock inspecting the dinghy hull; Jenny is at the spring surveying flora and testing water.

Kevin fitted the oarlock to the dinghy and checked its mooring line at low tide, then walked back to the cottage. Jenny tested the spring water with a strip and collected a sample for the tank.

Tank reads safe. Marked 151 litres — same as this morning. Good. Now the oarlock. Need to get it fitted proper so the dinghy's actually usable. Radio forecast said westerly 5-6, rain later. If the supply boat's due in three days, seas'll be up. Want the dinghy ready before then.
