The Turning Tides

The tide has reached its lowest point and begins to creep back toward the pilings of the dock.

Kevin finished seating the final dock plank just as the tide surged up the jetty, then retreated to the cottage with his tools. Jenny sketched the rising water around the pilings before closing her notebook and heading inside as the swell reached the new timber.
