Shelter from the storm

The two return to the cottage as the first heavy drops of rain hit the dust. Inside, the wind begins to howl through the spruce mast supports.

Kevin checked the generator and secured the cottage as the air pressure began to drop steadily. Jenny attempted to dry the heirloom seeds in the low oven, but struggled with the humidity and the rising wind.
