Approaching Squall

Kevin is at the dock and Jenny is at the garden.

Kevin struggled to drag the waterlogged crate from the beach as the rising tide began to lap at the dock. Jenny worked in the garden, securing the shade cloth against the increasing wind as the warm rain steadied up.

Rain's coming horizontal now. Crate's secure. Generator needs its two-hour run before the battery drops — radio's at 60%, won't last the night if the front sits on us. Still got the transom mount to check, but that can wait. Jenny's at the garden; she'll want the radio battery topped before dark.
