The Storm Breaks

You and Jenny gather inside as the first heavy drops hit the tin roof, and the wind begins to rattle the dock.

Kevin started the generator to dry the seed packets with drier heat while Jenny monitored the oven. The barometer held steady at 997 hPa, but clouds thickened as night fell. Kevin then ran the Yanmar engine under load to charge batteries and test the bilge pump.
