The storm breaks

Kevin and Jenny meet at the cottage as the wind picks up, and the first heavy drops of rain hit the tin roof.

Kevin spent the low tide inspecting the dinghy's garboard patch and tide pools while Jenny worked inside the cottage sketching sea beet morphology. The warm rain persisted, making the air heavy and the work sluggish as the atmospheric pressure continues to drop.
