The First Squall

The wind finally picks up, smelling of salt and rain. You and Jenny meet inside the cottage as the first heavy drops hit the roof.

Kevin climbed to the ridge to inspect the structural integrity of the old shrine as the air pressure dropped. He found the stone walls stable but noted minor shifting in the mortar near the north face. Jenny remained at the shrine, struggling with fever and the persistent swelling in her ankle.
