Bolt the shifted sister plate
Kevin and Jenny stand at the port stringer with the greenheart sister plate test-fitted over the new bolt pattern. The 150mm stainless through-bolts, washers, and nyloc nuts are staged. The tide is low, exposing the full scarf joint. They begin driving and torquing the bolts to 35Nm.
Kevin completed the starboard sister joint by driving and torquing all three 150mm stainless through-bolts to 35 Nm; the greenheart plate seated cleanly with no rot bleeding through and the joint shows no play. Jenny walked the north ridge transect and found the tension crack has extended another 15 cm past the stability line, with fresh weeping clay at two new soil pockets; she also opened seed tin E and confirmed the contents are viable heirloom tomato and sea beet seeds, though the tin's side
Three bolts. Starboard outer first. Torque to thirty-five, hold, check alignment.
drive and torque the first 150mm stainless through-bolt at the starboard outer hole, check plate seating, then move to port outer

The alignment looks true for now.
Tighten the nyloc nut on the first bolt and check the plate for any gap.

The joint's clean. No rot bleeding through yet.
Check the alignment at the center hole while Kevin works.

Center next. Go slow — feel for bottoming out.
drive and torque the third bolt at the center hole, watching the plate and stringer for any movement

It's tight.
Run a hand over the sister joint to check for any play or movement.
